HOUSTON -- SDI Petroleum LLC is selling 12 operating convenience stores, all in the state of Texas, with Shell gasoline, but without convenience store brand.

Located in Alamo, Brownsville (2), Donna, Edinburg, Laredo (6) and Pharr, Texas, on high-traffic corners, the stores all opened in the late 1980s, 1990s or early 2000s. Building sizes for the stores range from 1,090 to 4,000 square feet, with sites ranging from 13,000 square feet to 1.4 acres.

As reported in a 21st Century Smoke/CSP Daily News Flash, seven sites are being sold with real estate, while five sites will be offered as a leasehold interest. Sites may be sold with or without fuel supply. Sites will be sold without c-store brand, but will retain the Shell fuel brand.

Chicago-based NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC is conducting the sale for SDI using NRC's "buy one, some or all" sealed-bid sale process. A complete list of the properties and information regarding submitting offers is available online at www.nrc.com/1311. Interested parties can register online for sale updates or by calling the NRC Customer Service Center at (800) 747-3342, extension 1311. Site-specific property specific packages (due diligence packages) are available for download online, with a bid deadline scheduled for Feb. 20, 2014.

"This sale offers some great opportunities for qualified operators," said Dennis Ruben, NRC's executive managing director. "Anyone operating or interested in this market should take a serious look at these sites."

Houston-based SDI Petroleum now operates the Dash Neighborhood and Dash Express retail brands, which are not part of this sale.
