Beck Oil Acquires Gromann Services Stores

Grows in Mendota, Ill., area

PRINCETON, Ill. -- Beck Oil has acquired the properties of Gromann Service Co., including the Lakeview Food Shop and Gromann's I-39 Plaza, both in Mendota, Ill., according to a report in the Mendota Reporter.

The transaction was effective June 27. Beck Oil owns numerous gas stations/convenience stores throughout Illinois and is based in Princeton.

Beck Oil Co. was founded in 1949 as a single gas station. It now owns and operates 18 stores in Illinois and Iowa, all of which are known as Beck's Convenience Stores.
