Brew acquires 13 convenience stores, 1 smoke shop from Danlee Corp.

Brew LLC has acquired 13 convenience stores and one smoke shop and liquor store from Indianola, Iowa-based Danlee Corp. 

Most of the stores are in and around central Iowa, KJ Acquisitions, which represented the seller, told CSP Daily News on Tuesday. The deal closed on Oct. 29, Waukee, Iowa-based KJ Acquisitions said. 

The acquired stores were branded Jiffy or Phillips 66 and will be rebranded as Brew stores in the upcoming months, offering fuel from bp and Amoco, Brew told CSP on Wednesday. 

Storm Lake, Iowa-based Brew is owned by Inder Singh and has 36 locations, including some travel centers, in Iowa and Kansas. 

“We are excited to welcome these 14 locations and their communities into the Brew family,” Singh said. “This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our growth and reinforces our commitment to serving Iowa residents with the best modern convenience-store experience. These stores are in great communities, and we look forward to investing in them, creating jobs and becoming an active part of each neighborhood.”

The newly acquired locations are in Marshalltown, Toledo, Knoxville, Indianola, Tama, Newton, Oskaloosa, Martensdale, Spirit Lake and Des Moines, Iowa, Brew said.

Brew will introduce its signature offerings at the stores, including premium coffee, fuel and a robust customer rewards program, it said.
