Mirabito Convenience Stores has acquired four Stewart’s Shops locations, further strengthening its presence in New York and expanding into southern Vermont. In a separate transaction, Prestige Petroleum Corp. has acquired two stores from Stewart’s Shops.
The c-stores went on the market to facilitate Stewart’s Shops Corp.’s acquisition of Jolley Associates LLC, as mandated by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Stewart’s Shops completed the acquisition of the retail convenience store, wholesale dealer and residential heating oil businesses of Jolley Associates and S.B. Collins Inc. in December. Jolley Associates operates 45 convenience stores in Vermont, New Hampshire and New York. S.B. Collins delivers gasoline and diesel to dealers in those three states.
Mirabito’s four newly acquired Stewart’s Shops locations are:
- 222 Lake St., Rouses Point, New York
- 443 State Route 3, Plattsburgh, New York
- 1433 State Route 9, Queensbury, New York
- 4803 Main St., Manchester, Vermont
The two locations acquired by Prestige are:
- 777 Upper Glen St., Queensbury, New York
- 474 Aviation Road, Queensbury, New York
“We are proud to welcome these locations into the Mirabito family,” said David Bonczek, CEO of Mirabito Energy Products. “This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to extend our long-standing commitment to reliability, safety, and community to even more customers. We have been honored to provide residential and commercial fuels along with HVAC services in these regions for many years, and we look forward to strengthening those relationships by delivering reliable convenience and added value both at home and on the road.”
The stores will now offer the Mirabito Rewards program, which allows customers to earn rewards on every purchase, both in-store and at the pump. Members enjoy cents off per gallon, exclusive club items, special offers and reward tracking through the app. Customers who receive home fuel deliveries from Mirabito can now redeem the points they earn at home for purchases at the pump.
