WORCESTER, Mass. — Nouria Energy Corp. has completed the acquisition of four Mega X convenience stores. The transaction adds further scale to Nouria’s network and expands its geographic footprint into the southeastern New Hampshire market.
The transaction bolsters Nouria’s presence in the Granite State and brings the number of locations it operates in New Hampshire to 31. The acquisition boosts Nouria’s retail network to a total of 144 locations, from Hartford, Conn., to Waterville, Maine.

In June, Nouria expanded into the New York and Connecticut markets through the acquisition of the branded fuel distributorship business of Springfield, Mass.-based Roberts Energy. In late 2019, it acquired five New England Farms c-stores and one car wash in the southeastern Massachusetts market.

Founded in 1989 by El-Nemr, Nouria Energy is one of New England’s largest family-owned and -operated convenience-store and fuel retailers. The company also owns more than 50 Golden Nozzle car washes, two lube centers, the Whately Diner and a wholesale business.
