CALEDONIA, Mo. — Juliette Property and Investment Inc., owner of Roy’s Convenience Stores in Missouri, is selling seven of the chain’s nine stores to Royalz Group LLC, House Springs, Mo., a retailer with four stores in the same area about 90 minutes south of St. Louis.

Owner Brad Juliette told CSP Daily News that four Roy’s stores changed hands in December, and three more will be finalized after the new year. Juliette said the stores will retain the Roy’s branding, and he will continue to operate the stores, while also growing his own retail business independently.

“The plan is, I’m going help [Royalz] until I’m 50,” said Juliette, who is 47 now. “I’m opening a new store in Elvins, Mo., and kept my hometown stores in Belgrade and Caledonia, Mo.”

Caledonia-based Juliette Property and Investment Inc. also invests in supermarket and other real-estate assets.
