PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Southeast Petro Distributors Inc. has purchased three gas stations in the South Florida market from long-time customer Kevin Dalton, who will lease the convenience stores from Southeast Petro and continue operations as usual.

The move advances Southeast Petro’s expansion efforts into the Treasure Coast, adding to its overall real estate portfolio footprint. The acquisition brings the total gas station properties the company is supplying fuel in South Florida to 39.

“We are excited to be able to further expand the business with such well-established and well-run stores in the highly desirable Palm Beach Gardens area,” said Summit Shah, president of Southeast Petro. “Growth is one of our core values at Southeast Petro, and we are excited for the opportunities this will bring to the company.”

Dalton has built up and maintained a profitable operation with a loyal customer base at these three stores. He also has a staff that has been with him for many years.

Dalton plans to slow down and take more time for his family. “This sale-leaseback allows for me to expand my other business ventures, while temporarily freeing up time for my family to spend quality time together. I look forward to continuing my relationship with the Shah's, Mike and Summit and the rest of my Southeast family.”

Cocoa, Fla.-based Southeast Petro Distributors is one of the largest wholesale fuel suppliers and multi-site convenience-store operators in the Southeast. The multi-generational family business, established in 1980, now supplies fuel to more than 450 gas stations in three states.
