T & R Corner Store Inc., an independent convenience store in Wilson, New York, has been acquired by an undisclosed individual investor.

The transaction closed June 25, according to Generational Group, a full-service mergers-and-acquisitions (M&A) advisory firm.

The locally owned store offers a full range of fuel services, everyday essentials and made-to-order food options, the firm said. Its menu includes breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, pizza, tacos, calzones and vegetarian options.

T & R Corner Store has a strong connection to the local community, Generational Group said, and it has become a “trusted stop” for both residents and travelers in the Wilson area.

David Fergusson, executive managing director of mergers and acquisitions for the eastern region, and Bill Shipman, affiliate, led the Generational Group team that closed the deal with the support of Corey Painter, managing director of mergers and acquisitions. Executive Managing Director Tom Stephens and Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor Michael Lorence established the initial relationship with T & R Corner Store.

Dallas-based Generational Group offers a comprehensive suite of services, including strategic growth consulting, exit planning education, business valuation, value enhancement strategies, mergers and acquisitions advisory, digital solutions and wealth management. And it has closed more than 1,700 transactions, the firm said.
