OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Giving it a physical presence in Owensboro, Bowling Green and Louisville, Ky., Valor Oil has acquired the assets of Louisville-based Miller Oil Co. Inc., effective March 1, 2014.
"We will be able to provide the Louisville market with more product offerings and more job opportunities," said vice president Josh Emmick.
As reported in a 21st Century Smoke/CSP Daily News Flash, Miller Oil owns and operates four competitive oil jobber companies, five convenience stores and two full-service Marathon-branded gas stations. It services retail fueling stations with unbranded, Gulf and Marathon fuels. The commercial side provides lubricants and fuels to a wide range of businesses in the greater Louisville area.
"Miller Oil operations, customer base and employees fit with Valor Oil's current operations very well," said Valor Oil president Gary Emmick.
