Inside Sheetz U Place (Slideshow)

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- “We’re amplifying what we do today. In laying out the store, we’re bringing the dining experience to the front.”

So says Emily Sheetz, director of special projects for the 502-store Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz Inc., in describing the Sheetz convenience store on the campus of West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown, W.Va.

The 15,000-square-foot store will serve as a laboratory designed to hone the company’s future as a food-first café. Here's an exclusive look inside the store and peeks at the floor plan.
