Small ‘fill-in' shopping occasions prime for c-stores, according to IRI.

Consumers today don’t shop the way their parents did. At least that’s what one consumer researcher is telling convenience retailers. Also, hoppers today are no longer filling their pantries once at the beginning of the week; rather, they are typically pursuing three smaller, fill-in occasions that might best be described as “quick trips.”
