Rutter’s has opened its first store in Virginia. The convenience-store chain now has 91 locations across four states.

The store, located at 1510 Coverstone Drive in Winchester, features a 1747 Bar & Lounge, a 21-plus space offering nearly 75 alcohol drinks, including canned cocktails, spiked slushies, beer and wine. The bar has 20 high-definition 65-inch TVs and three real-time sports tickers.

“Whether you're watching your favorite team play or just grabbing a drink, the 1747 Bar & Lounge offers a front-row seat with wall-to-wall screens, live sports updates and a menu tailored for game day,” said Chris Hartman, vice president of fuels, marketing and development at Rutter’s

The store also offers a beer cave and wine selection and a restaurant featuring Rutter’s made-for-you customizable food menu. The store exterior features 12 auto-fueling locations with gasoline, five commercial fueling lanes offering diesel and in-lane diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and commercial parking spaces to accommodate professional drivers.

“We’re excited to join the Winchester community to our newest location,” said Hartman. “This store is designed to be more than a fuel stop—it’s a welcoming space to shop, dine, relax and enjoy sports games with friends and family.”

The store is open 24/7 and spans nearly 14,000 square feet.

Rutter’s will hire up to 50 new team members in Winchester, with starting wages beginning at $18 per hour.
