CHICAGO – The 7-Eleven Franchise Owners Association of Chicagoland (FOAC) hosted its seventh annual holiday party and trade show on Nov. 15 at the Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore in Skokie, Ill. The show featured Jaimin Pandya, president of FOAC, as well as the organization’s officers and board of directors, working with snack, candy, beverage and general merchandise suppliers looking to get their products on the convenience-store chain’s shelves.
The better-for-you snacking trend doesn’t appear to be declining, as many of the sweet and salty treats at the show targeted health-conscious consumers. Nonetheless, new takes on traditional snacks were highlighted as well.
Here were five snacks on display at the 7-Eleven FOAC trade show …

The Kellogg Co. has launched its new Pringles Mega Stack, a 7.16-ounce canister of the crunchy chips. The Mega Stack towers over Pringle’s traditional cans, which stand at 5.2-ounces. These cans arrive in two classic Pringles flavors: Original and Sour Cream & Onion.
