WOODBURY, N.Y. — AriZona Beverages has launched AriZona Fruit Snacks, which come in Watermelon, Mucho Mango and Fruit Punch flavors in 5-ounce bags. They are fat-free, gluten-free and contain real fruit and vitamin C.

“Many teens and millennials are among AriZona’s brand-loyals and avid enthusiasts, providing these consumers with a taste experience that goes beyond childhood fruit snacks is what we have set out to do,” said John K. Johnson, senior director of sales and marketing for AriZona Snacks. “Consumers are already anticipating the arrival on retail shelves as social media has helped drive awareness of the new item.”

“We realized our beverages have an identity that teens and millennials associate with,” said Don Vultaggio, chairman and president of AriZona Beverage. “This audience is on-the-go and wants convenient, fat-free treats without the feel of a snack that was put in their lunch bags.”

This isn't AriZona Beverage's first foray into the snacking category. The company also produces Crazy Cowboy Beef Steak Jerky, which comes in Classic, Peppered, Teriyaki, Maple Bacon and Mango Habanero flavors.

AriZona Beverages USA is a privately owned manufacturer based in Woodbury, N.Y. Its flagship brand, AriZona Beverages—a leading ready-to-drink tea company—produces AriZona Iced Tea, waters, juices, energy drinks, sports drinks and powdered tea mixes.
