Circle K Launches Hispanic Products Program in West Coast Divisions

Inca, Core-Mark help retailer implement offering

INDIANAPOLIS -- The West Coast Business unit of Circle K Stores Inc. recently launched the Authentic Hispanic Products Program from Inca Products LLC and Core-Mark International in the retailer's Southwest markets.

The Authentic Hispanic program offers various plan-o-grams including complete four-foot and three-foot dry grocery food and health and beauty aides (HBA) displays of more than 70 SKUs along with 10 beverage SKUs in the refrigerated section.

The program features the most popular Hispanic brands such as Jumex, La Costena, [image-nocss] Hershey Lorena, Nestle, El Azteca and more.

By offering complete plan-o-gram services and consolidated logistics, the Inca program provides the ability to offer a comprehensive program to our stores, said Chris Wilson, Director of Marketing for Circle K, Tempe, Ariz.

Through the demographic profiling services offered by Inca, we were able to target high opportunity store locations. This helped us to target our rollout execution by securing maximum store participation, added Mark Wright, category manager for Circle K.

Inca offers product sourcing and category management support services to help the c-store retailer and distributor in designing and implementing customized Hispanic products programs. Inca is a program consolidator that provides mixed shipments of Hispanic products while servicing the needs of the convenience store and drug store channels.
