SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. —Country Archer Provisions is adding sugar-free jerky to its lineup of meat snacks and debuting packaging featuring the company's new name.

Zero Sugar Beef Jerky will come in Spicy Sesame Garlic, Mustard BBQ and Classic varieties. The line was created to meet the needs of consumers following keto, low-carb and low-sugar diets who are looking for a protein-filled snack, according to the company.

Each snack is made without soy and has 11 to 12 grams of protein per serving.

The snacks will have a suggested retail price of $6.99 and be available in June at Whole Foods Markets in the Southern Pacific region. The line will also be available at Sprouts Farmers Market locations in August, and a national rollout will follow in October for the Classic and Mustard BBQ varieties.

“Keto, low-carb and low-sugar specialty diets are surging in popularity, building higher demand for recognizable ingredients and sustainable proteins,” said Eugene Kang, co-founder and CEO of Country Archer. “When we realized there’s currently no zero-sugar, zero-soy, grass-fed beef jerky on the market, we knew we could develop a standout product to meet this incremental consumer.”

Country Archer also has a new packaging design and brand strategy for its entire meat snack portfolio that will roll out this summer.

The company has changed its name from Country Archer Jerky to Country Archer Provisions to reflect "the brand’s commitment to scaling the portfolio of its thoughtfully sourced and handcrafted meat snacks with innovation extending beyond traditional jerky into mini and full-size meat sticks,” the company said.

San Bernardino, Calif.-based Country Archer Provisions is a producer of gourmet jerky, meat sticks and meat bars. Its meat snacks are available at more than 25,000 conventional, natural, mass and convenience stores nationwide.
