BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Eggo, part of the Kellogg Co. is rolling out Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles, the first Eggo waffle that does not need toasting. The waffle is available in two flavors: Buttery Maple and Strawberry.

“Mornings are tough for families. We heard from parents that they often sacrifice their own needs, like skipping breakfast, in order to make sure their kids get a great start to the day,” said Joe Beauprez, marketing director at Eggo. “These delicious and satisfying mess-free waffles are perfect to enjoy during carpool dropoffs, while commuting to work and especially when you have a jam-packed weekend filled with back-to-back sporting events for your kids.”

The handheld waffles are inspired by Belgian street food, featuring brioche dough. They are baked through with pearl sugar, real butter and no artificial colors or flavors.

Eggo Grab & Go Waffles are individually wrapped and thaw in under an hour. They can be eaten at room temperature or toasted. Maple flavor is infused throughout the waffle, so no syrup or toppings are necessary.

The new Eggo Grab & Go Liege-Style Waffles are available nationwide in a 4-pack box for a suggested retail price of $5.99 and a 12-pack box for a suggested retail price of $12.99.

Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg Co. produces Pop-Tarts, as well as Pringles, Cheez-It, Kashi and several other convenience food brands.
