Forbes Picks J&J Snack Foods for 200 Best List

Company's sixth time in the rankings

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. -- J&J Snack Foods was selected by Forbes magazine for its 200 Best Small Companies list once again for 2006.

This is the fourth consecutive year and sixth time that J&J Snack Foods Corp. has ranked on Forbes list.

This is a fine tribute to our company and our staff. Being named one of the Best 200 is a perfect way to celebrate our 35th anniversary, said Gerald B. Shreiber, J&J Snack Foods president and CEO.

Forbes only considers publicly traded U.S. based companies with sales [image-nocss] in the $5 million to $750 million range (small by Forbes standards). To qualify for this list, candidates have to show a consistent pattern of positive growth during a five-year period, as well as over the last 12 months. Forbes uses strict criteria, including sales and earnings growth, return on equity and long-term debt.

Pennsauken, N.J.-based J&J Snack Foods manufactures a variety of snack foods to the foodservice, convenience store and supermarket industries.
