Here’s What Hershey Is Bringing to C-Stores for Valentine’s Day

HERSHEY, Pa. -- Valentine’s Day is getting closer, which means consumers will likely seek out chocolate hearts and roses more than usual. But the traditional Valentine’s Day candies aren’t the only options for consumers this coming holiday.

The Hershey Co., Hershey, Pa., has provided a sneak peek into its brand-new Valentine’s Day offerings. The lineup features a variety of chocolate and peanut butter treats that will arrive in convenience stores and other major retailers next month.

Here’s a look into Hershey’s candy roster for the lovable holiday …

Hershey’s Lava Cake Kisses are the company’s first Kisses product specifically made for Valentine’s Day. Unlike traditional Kisses, which maintain the same smooth chocolate consistency throughout, Lava Cake Kisses combine a dark chocolate outside with an oozing, soft chocolate center. They will be available in 7-ounce and 9-ounce bags for suggested retail prices of $3.19 and $3.79, respectively.

The company’s flagship chocolate bars will arrive with “to” and “from” tags for people to write notes while gifting the treat. Hershey is offering the 1.55-ounce bars in packs of six for a suggested retail price of $4.29.

Hershey’s Lovers Collection Box is an assortment of five full-sized chocolate bars. It includes two Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars, two Hershey’s Cookies 'N’ Creme Bars and one Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Bar. The 7-ounce Lover’s Collection Box will be available for a suggested retail price of $5.29.

This next Valentine’s Day option features a heart-shaped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup filled with Reese’s Pieces candies. Each 1.1-ounce heart arrives in a variety of package sizes, including 2.2-ounce (two hearts) and 5-ounce (four hearts) packages as well as a six-pack for suggested retail prices of $1.29, $3.99 and $4.29, respectively.

Similar to Hershey’s Lover’s Collection Box, the Reese’s Ultimate Collection Gift Box contains five Hershey products in a single gift offering. These items include two Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, one Reese’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, one Reese’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and one Reese’s Stuffed With Pieces Peanut Butter Cup. The 7.5-ounce box will be available for a suggested retail price of $5.29.
