HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Co. has updated its online portal so convenience-store owners can order new products the same day they are announced.

Hershey Solutions, an online tool for retailers, launched in 2018. The resource gives registered retailers access to merchandising strategies and shopper insights 24/7, 365 days a year.

“We want to see our convenience store partners continue to grow and are proud to be investing in capabilities that will help them drive trips, build baskets and ultimately maximize sales and profits,” said Gwen Andrews, senior manager, sales planning c-store, for Hershey. “Our Hershey Solutions portal allows us to help thousands of retailers each day, providing them access to category management insights, merchandising, new-product news and now online ordering.”

Hershey Solutions also provides current updates to buyers' Retailer Rewards rebate status, identifies compliance gaps and allows retailers to act on compliance voids.

The new changes will help c-stores get Hershey’s products—including Reese’s, Kit Kat, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers, among its more than 80 brands—on shelves faster, according to the company.

“It is exciting to see Hershey Solutions continue to grow, and there are even more profit-driving business tools that we’ll be rolling out in the near future,” Andrews said. “The online ordering capability is the first of many exciting additions to come.”

Hershey, Pa.-based Hershey Co. has more than $7.8 billion in annual revenues. It recently announced minority investments in two emerging snack businesses: Fulfil Holdings and Blue Stripes.
