KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hostess Brands is adding Lemon Iced CupCakes and Unicorn CupCakes to its permanent lineup of packaged baked goods.
The lemon cupcakes, which the company released as a limited-time offer in the spring, are made with a yellow cake, filled with a citrus-flavored creme and topped with yellow icing.
The Unicorn CupCakes, also first released as an LTO, combine yellow cake with pink and purple sprinkles and a creamy filling. The cupcakes are topped with teal icing, sprinkles and a pink squiggle.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Hostess is a packaged-food company focused on manufacturing and selling fresh baked sweet goods in the United States. Its brands include Twinkies, Donettes, Zingers, Honey Buns and Coffee Cakes.
