Inca Products Rolls Out Hispanic Products Program With 7-Eleven

Plan-o-grams help match products, demographics

INDIANAPOLIS -- With more than 300 authentic Hispanic products, Inca Products LLC has created customized a Authentic Hispanic Products Program for convenience store and drug store retailers and distributors, designed to increase sales by focusing on the growth potential associated with Hispanic consumers, reportedly the fastest growing ethnic segment in the United States.

Inca Products, Indianapolis, provides full plan-o-gram sets in two-foot to 24-foot options, to attract Hispanic consumers by offering a variety of popular brands and products they want. [image-nocss] While the standard sets hold broad appeal, Inca Products is able to customize the sets to target the specific demographics of a given retail store's customers, using its expertise in dealing with more than 20 Hispanic subgroups. For example, a retailer that needs to focus on the Caribbean Hispanic population might feature more products that appeal to Cuban, Puerto Rican or Caribbean consumers.

Leveraging Inca Products' solution, 7-Eleven is launching a national program beginning with its California, Arizona and Colorado markets. The 7-Eleven program combines a complete three-foot display featuring over 80 SKUs of dry grocery and HBA items, along with 10 beverage SKUs in the refrigerated section. The program provides the most popular brands and flavors from various recognizable, authentic Hispanic brands, such as Jumex, Jarritos, La Costena, Hershey Lorena, Nestle, and El Azteca.

Kevin Osborn, category manager at 7-Eleven, said, "7-Eleven is very excited to launch this unique Hispanic program. We have been working with Inca and TNT Marketing for over one year to implement the proper strategic Hispanic program for our corporate and franchisee stores. The rollout began in three of our West Coast divisions and should expand into our Central and East Coast divisions in the second quarter of this year."

In addition to supplying customized product displays and a wide range of popular Hispanic products, Inca also provides consolidated shipment programs and VMI services to help their customers manage their inventories and reduce their costs.

Arlington, Texas based c-store broker TNT Marketing Inc. recently has sold Inca Products lines to major c-store retail chains. Three top new items from Inca are Marian cookies, Bota-Nice snacks and El Azteca candies, all of which will be featured as part of 7-Eleven's program.
