PENNSAUKEN, N.J. -- J&J Snack Foods Corp. has acquired the Whole Fruit Sorbet and Fruit-a-Freeze Fruit Bars brands from CoolBrands International.

These two premium brands fit our ever-expanding portfolio of frozen novelty products, said Gerry Shreiber, J&J president and CEO. They will help to grow both our foodservice and retail grocery businesses.

Whole Fruit Sorbet is available in a variety of flavors sold primarily in pints in traditional retail supermarkets, convenience stores and club stores.
