Kent Kwik has rolled out nuts and trail mix in its line of new company-branded offerings.

The Kent Kwik private-label items feature three trail mix combinations, including cran-slam trail, sweet energy trail and fruity trail. The new snacks also feature flavored nuts, including hot and spicy cashews, kettle sweet pecans and butter toffee peanuts.

The cran-slam trail mix includes cranberries, peanuts, almonds, raisins, pineapple, papaya, banana chips and pepitas. The sweet energy trail is filled with butter toffee mixed nuts, chocolate buttons, raisins and almonds. The fruity trail is made of chocolate buttons, Peanut M&M’s, raisins, banana chips, pineapple and papaya tidbits, peanuts almonds and coconuts.

The hot and spicy cashews mix includes cashews coated with a spicy seasoning. The kettle sweet pecans mix offers pecans that are kettle-cooked and coated in a sweet glaze, while the butter toffee peanuts mix includes peanuts that are covered in a buttery toffee glaze.

The convenience-store chain’s Rustic Café also recently debuted its hatch green chili burger. Kent Kwik began offering private-label products in 2022, including Kent Kwik-branded chips and water.

“We’re proud to expand our private-label options with these exciting new snacks,” the retailer said. “Just like our simply butter toffee puffs, golden caramel nuggets, and our line of chips and water, the new additions to our trail mix and nuts line are crafted with the same dedication to quality and flavor.”

The Kent Cos. is also expanding its operations. In May, the company acquired Jack’s Convenience Stores.

  • The Kent Cos. is No. 68 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

Founded in West Texas by the late Buck Kent in 1957, The Kent Cos., also based in Midland, Texas, began as Kent Oil and Kent Distributors and remains a family-owned business. The company includes Kent Kwik convenience stores, Mr. Payroll check cashing, Rustic Café, Huddle House, Baskin Robbins, Kent Car Washes, Kent Lubrication Centers, WesTex Urgent Cares, Prince Signs, Kent Tire Co. and Kent Fuels.
