Mars Cracks Fortune’s Top Places to Work List for Sixth Time

Employees rated brand on managerial trust, compensation, more

MCLEAN, Va. -- Candy company Mars Inc. is the 83rd best place to work in America, according to the 2018 100 Best Companies to Work For list, compiled by research firm Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine. This is Mars’ sixth appearance on the annual list, which is based on survey responses from more than 310,000 employees rating their workplace on managerial trust, compensation, fairness, camaraderie and more.

Mars offers a variety of benefits and growth opportunities to its employees. The company allows its employees to work across various business functions, has pet-friendly offices and volunteer opportunities, and emphasizes healthy living with parental leave and adoption-assistance programs.

Since 1995, Mars has invested billions in social and environmental initiatives, such as its Sustainable in a Generation program and its Global Deforestation Policy. Its Nourishing Wellbeing program integrates science, innovation and marketing to enhance food safety and security.
