
NEW YORK — Mondelez International is teaming up with The Hershey Co. on two new products.
Chips Ahoy made with Hershey’s milk chocolate and Chips Ahoy made with Reese’s Pieces launched this month for a suggested retail price of $2.95.
"With Chips Ahoy, we're always looking for new, delicious flavors to bring to life in a chocolate chip cookie that will provide consumers with the variety they crave in their sweet snacks,” said Sabrina Sierant, associate director of Chips Ahoy for Mondelez.
Chips Ahoy is also reintroducing its spokesperson cookie, Chip, which is returning to the brand after six years.
Deerfield, Ill.-based Mondelez International is one of the world’s largest snack companies, with 2018 net revenues of about $26 billion. Its brands include Chips Ahoy, Oreo, belVita, Sour Patch Kids and Trident gum.
Hershey, Pa.-based Hershey Co. has more than $7.8 billion in annual revenues. It is known for its brands such as Hershey’s, Reese’s, Kit Kat, Twizzlers, Jolly Rancher and Ice Breakers.
