HERSHEY, Pa. — The next variation of Kit Kat will give the candy a tangy and citrusy kick. Manufacturer The Hershey Co. will launch Kit Kat Key Lime Pie for a limited time this spring.

The new Kit Kat Key Lime Pie delivers an unexpected flavor twist of the Key Lime Pie cream with Kit Kat's familiar crispy wafer layers, according to the company.

Kit Kat Key Lime Pie will be available nationwide for a limited time in 1.5-ounce standard bar size with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $1.09.

Kit Kat Key Lime Pie is the latest in a string of Kit Kat limited-time-offer (LTO) variations over the past couple of years. During the Christmas season, Hershey unveiled a mint and dark chocolate version of its Kit Kat Duos. In time for Halloween, it brought out Kit Kat Witch's Brew, a version made with marshmallow flavor and coated in green cream.

Other flavor innovations have included mocha and chocolate Kit Kat Duos (a winner in CSP's 2020 Best New Products contest), Kit Kat Lemon Crisp and Kit Kat Birthday Cake.

Hershey, Pa.-based Hershey has more than $7.8 billion in annual revenues. Its brands include Hershey’s, Reese’s, Kit Kat and more.
