TNT to distribute NEXT Proteins whey bars, products

ARLINGTON, Texas -- NEXT Proteins, a manufacturer of branded whey-based protein products including Designer Whey protein powders and DETOUR whey protein bars, has selected TNT Marketing Inc. to sell its whey products to convenience stores throughout the United States.

TNT Marketing will represent Carlsbad, Calif.-based NEXT Proteins' lineup of protein candy bars and powders, including:

Protein Bar Brands:

DETOUR: The first protein bar to combine candy bar-like taste together with a high-protein nutritional profile. Originally [image-nocss] available in caramel peanut, DETOUR is now available in Peanut Butter, Smore's, White Chocolate Peanut Butter and Low-Sugar Caramel Peanut, with 50% less sugar than the original. U-TURN: The second member of the protein candy bar family, U-TURN has the same taste and protein as Detour, but without the peanuts. ONEWAY: Packed with peanuts and caramel, smothered in rich chocolate flavor, the ONEWAY is then drizzled with smooth peanut butter. JOYRIDE: Packed with protein, Joyride delivers sweet chocolate, roasted almonds and sweet coconut.

Designer Whey: Designer Whey is the protein power behind NEXT Proteins' products. Aria: Specifically designed for a woman's metabolic needs, Aria offers a combination of soy and whey protein.
