CINCINNATI -- Global candy company Perfetti Van Melle USA has hired James Biro as its new vice president of supply chain.
Biro joins PVM from The Kellogg Co., where he was multisite supply chain director. Prior to Kellogg, Biro worked extensively in operations, engineering and product launch for Mead Johnson Nutrition. Biro also was operations department manager for Procter & Gamble.
“James has a brilliant, strategic mind, demonstrated supply chain success and tenacious focus,” said Mehmet Yuksek, president and CEO of Perfetti Van Melle North America. “Furthermore, James’s bold leadership style elevates everyone and everything around him. He is a great addition to our team.”
Cincinnati-based talent strategy and executive search firm Centennial conducted Perfetti Van Melle’s search for the position.
