ORANGE, Conn. -- New Pez products are on the way this year. Pez Candy Inc. revealed Feb. 15 that it will launch a Shopkins Pez line through a new partnership with Moose Toys.
Created in 2014, Shopkins is Moose Toys’ line of collectable toys based off grocery items. The collection includes lines of clothing, trading cards and other merchandise.
The candy company will release three new dispensers/candy in Apple Blossom, Kooky Cookie and Strawberry Kiss flavors. And in November, Pez will offer a giftable twin pack featuring a Cheeky Chocolate dispenser along with the Strawberry Kiss flavor. Each twin pack will include Chocolate and Strawberry Pez Candy Refills, both of which will be available online and at various retailers nationwide.
“We’re really excited about this collaboration,” said Amy Kopchak, director of marketing for Pez, Orange, Conn. “Shopkins Pez have been a top request from fans, and we’re delighted to bring these great characters into the Pez lineup.”
Moose Toys distributes in more than 100 countries and was founded in 1985. The company, at its Melbourne, Australia and El Segundo, Calif., locations, manufactures collectables, craft, dolls, games and youth electronics.
