Pop Tarts to Relaunch a 2000s Era Favorite

Frosted Grape flavor makes its comeback

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Kellogg Co. is relaunching its Frosted Grape Pop Tart flavor in May and leaning into a Y2K theme based on the decade the snack was originally released.

“Frosted Grape has been among the top flavors fans have been asking us to bring back,” said Heidi Ray, senior director of marketing for portable wholesome snacks at the Kellogg Co. “We could not be more stoked to finally bring back this Pop Tart G.O.A.T.—Grape-ist Of All Time.

The flavor features a grape jelly filling, white icing and a purple sprinkle topping. The eight-count box, available nationwide, has a suggested retail price of $3.19.

Kellogg is also rewarding people who take part in its frosted hair challenge and post it on Instagram with the hashtag #Y2GrapeEntry. The first 50 entries will win a year’s supply of Frosted Grape Pop Tarts and a Y2K box filled with 2000s-inspired gifts.
