ReplenishMints Partners with TNT Marketing

Antioxident lozenges help smokers, others

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Tabacur LLC has chosen national convenience store broker TNT Marketing to market its ReplenishMints line of nutrient-enriched, smokers' breath mints to convenience stores nationally.

ReplenishMints are lozenges lasting two to three minutes and replacing the antioxidants depleted by smoking. When a smoker uses ReplenishMints throughout the day, he or she receives a sustained delivery of nutrients to counteract the load of oxidants contained in tobacco smoke. Additionally, ReplenishMints help refresh a smoker's breath and help satisfy a smoker's oral fixation.

Sales [image-nocss] of ReplenishMints have proven successful in tobacco stores, the company said. C-stores stand to earn high margins from this product and nearly double their average profits, when the mints are bundled with cigarette sales, it suggested. ReplenishMints are sold in "stick" packaging that fits the smoker's lifestyle and adds to the mints' appeal.

"The mints are a natural fit in the c-store world where 40% of total sales are from tobacco products and will appeal to many consumers in this class of trade," said TNT president Kennith Fries. "The mint is innovative and healthful by providing not only breath relief but also a nutritional boost."

Tabacur's mission is to establish and dominate a new market in health mints for persons under oxidative stress, it said. The firm will initially target tobacco smokers and people exposed to environmental tobacco smoke, but these products are also relevant to other populations under oxidative stress, including diabetics, endurance athletes and the elderly, it added.

TNT Marketing is a leading sales and marketing organization in the convenience store industry. It represents many consumer products in top c-store categories, including automotive, beverages, foodservice, frozen foods, grocery, general merchandise, HBC and salty and sweet snacks. Bayer, ConAgra, Dole, General Mills, Mattel, Playtex, Procter & Gamble (Duracell/Gillette), and Trojan are among the brands in the TNT Marketing portfolio.
