CHICAGO —RXbar is bringing back its limited-time pumpkin-spice editions earlier than ever this year.

Available beginning in mid-August, RXbar Pumpkin Spice and RX Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter “are better-for-you fall favorites made with simple ingredients (egg whites, dates, nuts, real pumpkin and seasonal spices, plus no gluten and zero grams of added sugar),” the company said.

The RXbar Pumpkin Spice bar contains 12 grams of protein, the RX Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter 9 grams, both with zero grams of added sugar.

Both are made with the brand’s signature core ingredients—egg whites, nuts and dates—with the addition of fall-inspired flavors from real pumpkin and cinnamon “to create the cozy autumn feeling fans know and love.”

The pumpkin-spice RXbar are available in boxes of 12 and bundled boxes of 12 protein bars and 10 peanut butter bars.

Based in Chicago, RXbar is a wholesome snack brand with products made from a few simple ingredients, the company said. Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg Co. acquired Chicago Bar Co. LLC, maker of RXbar, in 2017.
