CHICAGO — RXbar has launched a new product, RX A.M. Oats.

Each single-serve variety is made with the same ingredients that are found in RXbar and RX Nut Butter products—egg whites, fruits and nuts—with the addition of gluten-free oats.

The products are available in maple, apple cinnamon and chocolate. Each contains 12 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber.

"We're committed to providing foods with simple, real food ingredients that taste good and are good for you, and new RX A.M. Oats are no exception,” said Victor Lee, chief marketing officer of RXbar.

Customers can prepare the cups by adding hot water, using the microwave or as overnight oats. RX A.M. Oats are available at rxbar.com and will roll out to select grocery retailers in September before expanding to additional retailers in the fall.

Chicago-based RXbar is a wholesome snack brand with products made from a few simple ingredients, according to the company.

Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg Co. in 2017 acquired Chicago Bar Co. LLC, maker of RXbar.
