CARMEL, Ind. – Sour-candy manufacturer Candy Dynamics has added a new lip-puckering product, Nuclear Fusion, to its line of Toxic Waste Hazardously Sour Candy in convenience stores nationwide.

Nuclear Fusion candies ride today’s two-in-one flavor trend, in which one piece of candy contains multiple flavors. The flavor combinations are Raspberry-Lemon, Orange-Apple, Banana-Blueberry, Grape-Strawberry and Pineapple-Passion Fruit. These sour candies arrive in various packages, including collectible fluorescent orange drums, foil hanging bags, bulk options, fishbowls and 72-count shipper floor displays. Candy Dynamics debuted Nuclear Fusion after younger consumers, especially children, requested new flavors from its Toxic Waste brand, the company said.

Sour candies have proliferated in the nonchocolate category this year. Products such as Mike and Ike Mega Sour Mix, Trolli Sour Brite All Star Mix and Sour Punch Wild Bites all debuted at the 2018 NACS show, ready to arrive in c-stores next year.
