Wilson Farms Unveils Fresh n ' Ready Bakery Program

Replaces Krispy Kreme donut products

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- To expand its private-label brands, convenience retailer Wilson Farms Inc. has announced that it will add a Fresh n' Ready Bakery program to 60 of its 194 locations. The company, which operates under the banners of Wilson Farms, Sugarcreek and Wilson Farms Xpress, will offer a variety of fresh-baked products delivered daily including donuts, bagels, giant muffins and donut holes.

"The products will compliment our Wilson Farms Gourmet Coffee Program," said category manager Richard Pajak, who spearheaded the bakery campaign. "Through this program we will be able to keep [image-nocss] up with our customer 's demands for a wider variety and assortment of bakery items."

Pajak explained that stores carrying the Fresh n' Ready Bakery program will receive fresh-baked products on a daily basis from a commissary located in Cheektowaga.

Paul Nanula, president and CEO of Wilson Farms Inc., described the new initiative as another way to service the community. "This program, combined with our Fresh n' Ready breakfast program and the Wilson Farms coffee program, will help to create a one-stop shopping experience for our customers and will help them save time and money," he said. "It's about creating…customer satisfaction every time they walk in the door, and this is just one of the many ways Wilson Farms is able to do so."

The program, which will be live in all 60 locations by September 20, will replace Krispy Kreme donut products.

Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores, established in 1969, currently operates 194 convenience store and gas station locations across New York state. It offers farm-fresh produce, convenient meal solutions, freshly made sandwiches, gourmet coffee and a selection of other beverages and a line of grocery, frozen and dairy products.
