7-Eleven Aligns With Alliance

Transaction firm will provide payment processing services

DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement with Alliance Data Systems Corp. The marketing, loyalty and transaction services company will provide payment processing services to more than 5,500 7-Eleven-branded convenience stores nationwide.

Under terms of the agreement, Alliance Data will provide 7-Eleven payment processing services including authorization and settlement for debit and credit transactions and prepaid card services.

"We expect this partnership with Alliance Data will provide our stores with more efficient [image-nocss] processing capabilities," said Robbie Radant, 7-Eleven's director of payment acceptance. "Alliance Data's payment processing solution will help ensure that transactions are processed quickly and reliably, which ultimately further enhances the shopping experience for our customers."

Based in Dallas, 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 7,300 7-Eleven stores in North America. Globally, 7- Eleven operates, franchises or licenses approximately 33,000 stores in 17 countries and one U.S. territory. During 2006, 7-Eleven stores worldwide generated total sales of more than $44 billion.

Alliance Data, also based in Dallas, manages more than 120 million consumer relationships. Using transaction-rich data, it creates and manages customized solutions that change consumer behavior and that enable its clients to create and enhance customer loyalty to build stronger, mutually beneficial relationships with their customers.
