7-Eleven Inc. is updating its 7-Eleven Gold Pass subscription program to include seven free drinks a month, an extra 5 cents off per gallon and in-store deals, the c-store giant announced Tuesday.
"We're always looking for ways to bring more fun, value and ease to our customers' daily routines," Yaqub Baiani, vice president of digital product management and experience at 7-Eleven. "The new 7-Eleven Gold Pass lets you save on everything from your morning coffee to your fuel fill-up. And now you can enjoy those perks whether you're shopping in-store, online or on the go!"
7-Eleven Gold Pass members already receive free delivery on eligible orders and 10% cash back on both delivery and pickup.
The program, which launched at the beginning of 2022, is $9.95 a month or $95 a year, or for students, $5.95 a month or $55 a year. Customers can also sign up for a 30-day free trial. The chain also offers 7Now, a delivery service, launched in 2018.
In addition to delivery and the subscription program, Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven’s retail media network, Gulp Media, debuted as a test in 2022 and has grown across its 13,000 stores. It leverages media at the pump, digital signage, in-store radio and more to reach customers throughout their shopping journey with personalized messaging at the right time in the right format, said Neha Nayyar, senior director of retail media and shopper marketing, and Mario Mijares, vice president of marketing, loyalty and monetization at 7-Eleven, at CSP’s Retail Media Network Forum in April in Dallas.
7-Eleven’s loyalty program, 7Rewards, offers customers 10 points for every dollar spent on qualifying in-store purchases. It also offers fuel savings, mobile checkout and contactless payment.
