ADD Systems Releases New eStoreScan Hardware

FLANDERS, N.J. ADD Systems is releasing new scanner hardware for its ADD eStoreScan handheld scanner. ADD eStoreScan is now available on the Unitech PA726 Android handheld device.

Unitech is designed to help retailers streamline time-consuming activities so they can invest more time in customer-facing tasks. The Unitech PA726 handheld combines a handheld computer with the form of a modern smartphone.

Device features include:

  • 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen   
  • 3GB RAM, 32GB Flash    
  • Four function keys                
  • Wireless and ethernet dock                        
  • 1D and 2D imager
  • 5-foot-drop rating and IP65 rated
  • Android 7.1.2 operating system
  • Ergonomic pistol grip

“The handheld also communicates over wireless or with an ethernet dock,” said Chris Kiernan, director of retail applications for ADD Systems. “This direct connection simplifies synchronization and eliminates the problems with Windows and USB connections.”

Since 1973, Flanders, N.J.-based ADD Systems (Advanced Digital Data Inc.) has been a provider of software for the petroleum, propane, gasoline and convenience-store industries.
