Flanders, N.J. ADD Systems is partnering with Vroom Delivery to offer c-stores an opportunity to expand into order-ahead with pickup or delivery.

"This integration will allow ADD clients to fully automate the pricebook maintenance of their e-commerce stores, offer more products to their online customers, and efficiently scale the program across their network of stores,” said John Nelson, CEO of Vroom Delivery.

Vroom enables retailers to sell and market all their food and products online and be in control of the delivery, the company said. With options including home delivery, in-store pickup and curbside pickup, Vroom helps chains manage the entire process to help maintain margins and enable delivery of age-restricted products.

“We’re excited to offer an integration that helps our clients provide a contactless experience for their customers, while maintaining their pricebook and inventory in ADD eStore,” said Chris Kiernan, director of operations for retail and wholesale at ADD Systems, who headed the project.

Founded in 2016, Chicago-based Vroom Delivery is an e-commerce engine designed specifically for the convenience-store industry, providing stores with the tools necessary to manage an e-commerce operation.

Since 1973, Flanders, N.J.-based ADD Systems has been a provider of software for the convenience store, petroleum and HVAC industries. Its software products include ADD Energy E3 and ADD Energy E360 back-office fuel management; ADD eStore c-store back-office and home-office solution; Atlas Reporting, Raven and Pegasus mobile truck computers; and SmartConnect, a web services gateway.
