HENDERSON, N.C. -- VERGE Retail has announced that convenience store distributor and wholesale grocer AJ Silberman & Co. Inc. (AJS) has deployed AJS Advantage, a custom iPad sales app powered by VERGE Ignite, to its entire team of outside sales representatives, as well as broad base of c-store retailers across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia.
VERGE Ignite's platform--designed exclusively for c-store distributors and retailers--replaces traditional laptop-based solutions. AJS selected VERGE Ignite based on its ability to dramatically enhance presentations, improve sales processes, accelerate time to market and reduce order errors, while eliminating printing costs.
In addition, VERGE's intuitive analytics functionality enables AJS sales reps and customers to identify sales opportunities via core SKU analysis, along with real-time access to trends and market share figures.
