All Speedway ATMs Now Surcharge-Free

Retailer partners with Allpoint in stores across 20 states

ENON, Ohio -- All of Speedway’s 2,550 in-store ATMs are now surcharge-free for eligible cardholders due to a deal with ATM provider Allpoint, a Cardtronics subsidiary.

The milestone was reached after Allpoint gave an additional 1,500 Speedway convenience stores surcharge-free ATM access. The access was installed in stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

As a result of this expansion, all ATMs in Speedway convenience stores across 20 states in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast regions now participate in the Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network.

Brian Bailey, managing director of North America for Cardtronics, said, "We are delighted to broaden Allpoint surcharge-free access to consumers in the Midwest by expanding our partnership with Speedway."

Speedway LLC, with headquarters in Enon, Ohio, is the nation's second-largest company-owned and -operated convenience-store chain with approximately 2,730 stores located in 21 states. It ranked No. 3 on CSP's 2017 Top 202 list of the largest chains in North America and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corp.
