Anabi Oil is partnering with Accel Entertainment to support about 600 electronic gaming terminals at the Green Valley Grocery stores.

Upland, California-based Anabi announced in October that it was acquiring Green Valley Grocery’s 87 convenience stores across southern Nevada. Anabi also operates the Rebel c-store brand.

“When we brought Accel on as our gaming partner for Rebel earlier this year, we saw firsthand what their platform and team could deliver," said Sam Anabi, CEO of Anabi Oil. “Extending that relationship to our Green Valley Grocery locations was an easy decision. We're excited to grow alongside them across both brands and confident this partnership will create real value for our customers and the communities we serve.”

Through the agreement, made through Accel’s subsidiary Century Gaming Technologies Nevada, Accel will support all active Green Valley Grocery locations. In January, Accel became the gaming partner for all of Anabi’s Rebel convenience stores located across the Las Vegas area.

Accel purchased all the machines that were previously at Green Valley Grocery stores from Crawford Coin, a spokesperson told CSP. Accel plans on replacing games to best match the player profile in each location.

The new agreement brings Accel’s operational expertise, game and entertainment offerings, data analytics and promotional systems to further customer engagement, improve operational efficiency and drive growth, the company said.

“Adding approximately 600 terminals across the Green Valley Grocery locations is a meaningful step for our Nevada business. Together with Rebel, we're now supporting all Anabi-affiliated Southern Nevada locations, representing a concentrated, high-quality piece of our Nevada network that we intend to strategically invest in and grow,” said Andy Rubenstein, CEO of Accel Entertainment. “This agreement highlights our continued momentum in Nevada and our confidence in the long-term growth potential of this market.”

Bolingbrook, Illinois-based Accel Entertainment supports more than 28,000 electronic gaming terminals in more than 4,500 third-party establishments and 20 self-operated gaming locations across 10 states.

As of Jan. 1, Anabi Oil had 517 stores. Anabi Oil has a large footprint in California, selling and delivering fuel from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Anabi owns the Rebel convenience-store brand, which it acquired from Las Vegas-based Rebel Oil Co. in 2016.
