BJ's Selects PriceAdvantage by Skyline

Implements fuel pricing management solution at 107 gas sites

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. has chosen PriceAdvantage to support fuel pricing for its 107 BJ's Gas sites. All sites have completed the implementation of PriceAdvantage, the firm--a division of Skyline Products--said, adding that initial results show that the solution saves BJ's approximately three to four hours per day in time management as well as preventing costly pricing errors.

"We are thrilled to be using PriceAdvantage as it has truly taken us from a manual system to an automated process with full control from headquarters," said Scott Margherio, vice president and  manager of fuel and automotive operations of BJ's Wholesale Club. "We used to spend a good part of the morning collecting surveys, inputting data into a spreadsheet and then submitting prices to the clubs. Now we are able to make price changes in under an hour, instantly receiving a confirmation that it has been completed, correctly."

Aaron McHugh, head of PriceAdvantage division, said, "In today's competitive market, it is essential to have the right processes in place in order for a retailer to successfully manage fuel pricing with ever changing market conditions. BJ's Wholesale Club is committed to being a leader in their markets, and we're proud that PriceAdvantage is part of their success."
