C-StoreTEC is returning this October to bring convenience retail leaders together for a focused discussion on the technology decisions shaping the industry.
Taking place Oct. 26–28 in Lombard, Illinois, C-StoreTEC will move beyond broad conversations about digital transformation to focus on where technology is creating business value today and where retailers are placing their bets for the future.
The event will open with insights from the 2026 CSP Outlook Report, examined through a technology lens. The discussion will connect changing consumer expectations and industry growth priorities with the implications for loyalty, retail media, data, artificial intelligence and the modern retail technology stack.
From there, the program will bring together perspectives from companies including bp, Circle K, RaceTrac, Sheetz, Parker’s and Royal Farms, with discussions grounded in the real opportunities and challenges facing convenience retailers.
“C-StoreTEC has always been about creating an environment where technology leaders can learn from one another and have candid conversations about what is actually happening inside their businesses,” said Kate Hibbard of Informa, parent company of CSP. “This year’s program reflects how quickly the role of technology is expanding across convenience retail. We’re bringing together leaders who are actively navigating that change and creating more opportunities for attendees to learn, connect and take those ideas back to their organizations.”
Programming will explore how retailers are evolving their loyalty programs; what convenience retailers can learn from technology innovation around the world; how IT organizations are turning strategy into execution; and how retailers are approaching increasingly complex platforms, integrations and vendor ecosystems.
AI will take a larger role as the event progresses in its fourth year, including a practical framework for understanding predictive, generative and agentic AI and a discussion of how retailers are moving from AI strategy to measurable business impact. The focus will be less on AI hype and more on where the technology can solve real business problems and create value across the enterprise.
“Technology is no longer sitting on the sidelines of the convenience business. It is increasingly connected to how retailers grow, serve customers and differentiate themselves,” said Art Sebastian, founder and CEO of NexChapter. “AI is accelerating that shift. We are moving quickly from experimentation with generative AI toward a world where predictive, generative and agentic capabilities become embedded in how retailers operate. C-StoreTEC gives us an opportunity to bring the industry together, separate what is real from what is noise and have a practical conversation about where technology can create the greatest value.”
Designed as an intimate industry gathering, C-StoreTEC creates opportunities for convenience technology leaders to engage directly with peers, explore emerging capabilities and have candid conversations about the decisions they are making inside their businesses.
The event will also feature the C-StoreTEC Awards, interactive discussions, technology education, networking and dedicated one-to-one meetings throughout the program.
