Cash Depot Ltd. has appointed Tony Gaines as the new chief revenue officer (CRO). An experienced consumer packaged goods (CPG) business leader, Gaines will focus on expanding new cash services products across multiple channel verticals.
Gaines comes to Green Bay, Wisconsin-based Cash Depot with more than 25 years of experience as an executive in multiple product categories and services at companies including E&J Gallo Wine, Anheuser-Busch, Logic and Advantage Sales and Marketing where he represented several brands in all channels worldwide.
At Gallo, he was national director of customer development in charge of the convenience channel, among other roles. At Anheuser-Busch, Gaines was vice president of sales for small format, where he led the drug, convenience and dollar channel customer teams.
In addition to Gaines’s alcohol, manufacturing and CPG-related experience, he has worked with Fortune 100 CPG companies and led startups.
Most recently, Gaines was the CEO of Stewart’s Enterprises, a startup alcohol company with Hard Rock and Stewart’s Spiked brands. In 15 months, Gaines launched Hard Rock and Stewart’s in more than 12,000 accounts in 14 countries and 22 states while expanding product selection by more than 18 new SKUs in national and global accounts including Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, HEB, Wawa and Aldi. Gaines served eight years on the NACS Supplier Board.
