Christina Mathisen, former QuikTrip and Circle K leader, has been named vice president of marketing at Convenience and Energy Advisors (CEA), an advisory and marketing services firm specializing in convenience retail and downstream oil.

Mathisen brings more than 10 years of combined experience from Tulsa, Oklahoma-based QuikTrip and Laval, Quebec-based Circle K. She has led enterprise loyalty initiatives, customer relationship management (CRM) strategy, digital engagement and national marketing programs across thousands of retail locations. Her background also includes loyalty program development, customer data platform growth, payments integration, brand activation and ROI-driven marketing execution.

In her role, Mathisen will help lead CEA’s marketing strategy, delivering services across loyalty, brand positioning, customer engagement and growth-focused marketing initiatives.

“Christina’s experience is highly relevant to the challenges convenience retailers face today,” said Peter Rasmussen, CEO and founder of Convenience & Energy Advisors. “She understands how marketing, loyalty, payments and operations intersect at scale. When you combine Christina’s 10-plus years at QuikTrip and Circle K with my 20-plus years at Sheetz and Wawa, it significantly strengthens the practical expertise we bring to our retailer partners.”

Mathisen added, “CEA’s strength is its deep operating perspective, not just advising, but executing as well. I’m excited to work with retailers and partners to build and execute marketing and loyalty strategies grounded in real-world experience and designed to deliver measurable results.”

Convenience and Energy Advisors is an advisory and marketing services firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, specializing in convenience retail and downstream oil.
