Convenience-store retailer Circle K has formed a partnership with lottery app Jackpocket, which launched in Arizona on Jan. 6.
Lottery players in Arizona can use Jackpocket to play games online including Powerball, Mega Millions, The Pick, Fantasy 5 and Pick 3. Players choose their lottery game and numbers in the app. Jackpocket, a third-party lottery courier service, then buys the lottery tickets on the player’s behalf in partnership with Circle K.
The Jackpocket lottery app allows Arizona players to order and view their tickets, check lottery results, receive prizes up to $599 and make payouts directly through the app. Winners can pick up larger jackpots or have them securely delivered from the Arizona Lottery.
“Circle K is proud to partner with Jackpocket to make this fun, user-friendly experience available to every player in Arizona,” said Melissa Lessard, head of North American marketing at Circle K, “We strive to make our customers’ lives a little easier every day, and our partnership with Jackpocket aligns closely with this mission by making lottery more accessible, user-oriented and convenient.”
Arizona is now the 15th state available for lottery play using the Jackpocket app. It is available in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., and is expanding to new markets.
To celebrate the launch, Jackpocket is offering Arizonans their first lottery ticket free on the app. New players can receive a $2 lottery ticket by downloading Jackpocket and entering the code HEYAZ at checkout.
