EG America, Westborough, Massachusetts, is offering online ordering and delivery via DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub in partnership with Vroom.
- EG America is No. 6 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.
The program, now live across 500 locations, is expected to expand to more of the chain's 1,460-plus convenience stores. It uses Vroom’s Automated Menu Management (AMM) system to automatically populate each store’s online menu with available in-store products.
Through Houston-based Vroom’s integration with PDI’s Commerce API, orders are sent directly to EG America’s back-office systems with correct pricing and markups, eliminating the need for manual checkout. Employees pick and bag items once an order is received.
“We’re laser focused on providing our guests with the convenience to shop our stores where, when and how they prefer,” said Whitney Johnson, senior vice president of marketing at EG. “Through our partnership with Vroom Delivery, we were able to rapidly expand our delivery options and streamline back-office operations at the same time. Vroom Delivery’s expertise in the convenience industry, as well as with our other technology partners, helped expedite time to launch resulting in an immediate positive business impact.”
All EG America store brands—including Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb and Turkey Hill—are part of this launch and now offer online delivery across 23 states.
The company has rolled out several food programs recently, including a grab-and-go food menu, an Express Case with new fresh food offerings and a National Hot Dog Day deal.
