Fast Eddy's Ramps Up With OpenStore by GasBuddy

Offering mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons, social media

MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Fast Eddy's has turned to a new marketing strategy, through OpenStore by GasBuddy, intended to reward existing customers and attract new ones.

Fast Eddy's

Fast Eddy's has a loyal following of customers who are drawn to its stores for its customer service, clean facilities and ability to offer a wider selection of items than other convenience stores in the Gaithersburg, Md., area. With its new marketing solution, OpenStore, Fast Eddy's can communicate these features better and faster to its customers.

OpenStore is a complete digital marketing solution for c-store owners. It provides what retailers need to bring customers to their stores. This marketing platform is built and hosted by OpenStore by GasBuddy, which helps business owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers instead of building and maintaining IT systems, it said.

Fast Eddy's now has the ability to reach drivers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons and social media that include Facebook and Twitter.

"Fast Eddy's is excited to partner with OpenStore to bring our customers a top-rated mobile app while revamping our website at the same time. With a fresh new website, mobile app and text message alerts we are now able interact with our loyal customers in a number of new ways. We hope to extend the Fast Eddy's experience outside the walls of our stores and into the homes and everyday lives of our customers," Steve Eddy said.

"We help our clients identify new opportunities, make choices between those opportunities and optimize their customer experiences to attain and sustain market leadership," Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy, said. "OpenStore is a complete turnkey social technology solution that will support Fast Eddy's strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging."

Steve & Tracie Eddy opened up their first Chevron Food Mart in 1990, which was a first for the area, and by 2004 had 14 Fast Eddy's Chevron stores before selling their business the same year. In 2007, the Eddy's opened up a new Fast Eddy's location in Meridian, Idaho.

OpenStore by GasBuddy, Gaithersburg, Md., is a solution that increases customer loyalty by providing much needed two-way communication between c-store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns from one location.
